The Video Out Sensor determines the power state of video equipment. When your VCR or DVD player is powered up, a video signal will be present even if the tape or DVD is not in play mode.
The Video Out Sensor can be plugged directly into the GC-100 Network Adaptor connecting the sensor to the network.
Additionally, the Video Out Sensor will work with other controllers which provide 5V power and accept digital logic (TTL) input.
The Video Out Sensor connector is a standard 3.5mm stereo jack. It requires +5V to operate, it provides a sensor output representing the presence of a composite video signal.
